Ehsaas ke Alfaaz

मजबूर मै नही,  मजबूर तो ये हालात है।  हिला सके मेरे हौसले को कहाँ इनकी इतनी औकात है।  गुलाम नही मै इनका,  ये शणभंगुर जज़्बात है।  आज़माएश् है मेरी हिम्मत की बेड़ियों का जोर कुछ खास है।  रोक सकेंगी मुझे कैसे?  मेरे जज़्बे मे तो आग है।  मजबूर मै नही,  मजबूर तो ये हालात है।  सब्र और सयम् की औढ़ चुनर,  विश्वास से किया अपना शृंगार है।  स्वाद बदल दे हर चुनौती का,  प्रयत्न की ऐसी मिठास है।  समय भी करवट लेगा,  अंधेरी रात के बाद  सुनहरी सुबह की आस है।  मजबूर मै नही,  मजबूर तो ये हालात है। 

Today world is remembering today's day as World Cancer Day. Most of you who are reading about this must be having some emotional connection or someone you know who is or was fighting cancer at some point in life. For me it was a transformational journey. I suffered emotional cancer.  I know, medical science identifies no diease as such, but when cancer has taken over someone beloved you are affected by it.  I was! My world turned upside down.    I was working in Ahmedabad, my first job and first time that I was away from home. My mother was the force behind my lone survival in the new city. In would often call her and say, "you don't love me, that's why you have just let me be here alone." I accused her for my initial hiccups to adjust in a new place. Calm and composed like always she never got angry at me. She never lost her faith, she knew it was just matter of time that I'd adjust in the new city and things will get rolling. And so it was. You have just purchased a lovely bouquet of flowers and are decked up to attend a birthday party.  You park your vehicle at a distance and walk a few meters towards your destination. On your way, lays a gutter with no lid and venting the stinky smell of the dump it stores within.  It irritates your olfactory senses and you are irritated. What would you do?  Most of us will say we'd walk away from that place real quick, and we'd immediately hunt our bags and pockets for any perfumes we might be carrying. Lastly we'd have the flower bouquet that will come to the rescue.  Such are the negative situations, of life. They are full of opinions, judgements, perceptions, toxicity, gossip making them stinky. Whenever you cross roads with such situations they are bound to bother you, but most of us instead of walking away towards positivity, sit over this negative gutter and inhale it and get further irritated.  We were destined to meet the gutter, the handling of the situ...
